PROF. BINGXIN YANG
Prof. BingXin YANG graduated from the Department of Technology and Physics, Peking University, majoring in nuclear physics. He once worked in the Department of Modern Physics, University of Science and Technology of China. In 1977, he began to engage in teaching and experimental research in nuclear physics and nuclear technology at the University of Science and Technology of China. Together with collaborators, in the collaborative experimental study of the interaction of fast electrons with gas atoms and molecules, they discovered Cherenkov line spectrum radiation. This result won the second prize of Natural Science of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1988. From May 1983 to August 1986, he was invited to work on high-energy e+e-collision experiments in the cooperative group of Professor Ding Zhaozhong at DESY, Hamburg, Germany.
